Coal water slurry is a new type of liquid coal-based fuel which is prepared from cleaned coal by physical method. Its combustion characteristics is almost same as pulverized coal, and its physical state is similar with oil, therefore, in fuel storage, transportation, pumping and atomization, burning and adjusting control etc., the methods can be roughly same as oil, so the coal water slurry is more clean and economical and can replace oil; In the coal water slurry combustion technology, the burner atomization nozzle is the key technology. Currently, there are three kinds of nozzles, the first is the low-pressure swirl mixing nozzle, the second is the y-type mixing nozzle, and the third is the multi-pole atomizing impact nozzle.

The CWS burner developed by our company is a kind of high efficient coal-water slurry burner. It mainly solves the problems of unstable and insufficient combustion when using CWS as raw material, and problem of the CWS nozzle is often blocked and coke is often accumulated in the furnace and so on. The main features are as follows:

1. Absorb German low pressure atomization technology, only 0.4~0.8Mpa medium atomization pressure can assure sufficient combustion of coal water slurry, effectively control the atomization distance, and the phenomenon of coal water slurry adhering to furnace wall caused by high pressure atomization technology is avoided.

2. The ratio of coal water slurry to atomizing medium can be adjusted automatically to improve fuel burnout rate.

3. Reasonable distribution of air to form a suitable aerodynamic field to ensure the CWS combustion stability and economy.

4. Unique layout, wide range of fuel adaptation, can burn low volatile coal water slurry (anthracite coal water slurry).

5. The nozzle adopts special wear-resistant ceramic material, with a single continuous operation time of over 2000 hours.

6. The light oil ignition system and the slurry combustion system are independent and interrelated. The slurry can be burned independently, as well as fuel oil. The fuel can be integrated with coal slurry/heavy oil/diesel oil/natural gas as required by customers.
